AFBH Board Members and Purpose

The Arizona Foundation for Behavioral Health was formed in 1997 to provide:

• Funds for ongoing and innovative projects that develop new services or improve delivery of services; and
• Support studies that produce long-lasting benefits for consumers of behavioral health services.

Under the Board's direction in 2007 AFBH launched lecture and movie series to improve under-standing of mental health issues. An advocacy training series has been established to improve public input into mental health public policy. Please check the Events tab above for details on these activities.
